For Mugs

Print Settings: White Toner

Only for OKI Printers working with White Toner.

  • Paper & Print: Transparency, Multi-Purpose Tray
  • White Toner Darkness: (Calibration in the Printer Menu): +3
  • Image Mode: Mirror Image, Color Print, White: ON

Print Settings: CMYK

Only for light coloured mugs.

  • Paper & Print: Transparency (Film/Foil)

140°C (284°F), 180 sec. HIGH Pressure

Application Settings: Forever Mug Press

Only for OKI Printers working with White Toner.

  • Pre -heat your Mug Press before use.
  • Position & Fix the printed image to the mug using Heat Resistant Tape.
  • Place the mug in the press.
  • Press by using the settings above.
  • Cool the mug down by dipping into cold water. Make sure the transfer media is soft before peeling. ATTENTION: At this point, the mug is very HOT. Take precautions when moving the mug.
  • Clean any excess particles with Isopropanol (if necessary).

Tips & Tricks:

  • You can shorten the cooling process by placing the mug in a bowl of cold water.
  • The light marks that may appear after the application process, can be easily removed with Isopropanol.
  • Using the Mug Press Silicone Pad helps distribute the heat evenly around the whole mug & transfer.

Transfer Application:

  • Set the temperature of the transfer press to 200°C (390°F).
  • Place the substrate on the lower plate.
  • Place FOREVER Multi-Trans copy on the substrate and cover both with the Silicone Pad Universal.
  • Place the sensor of the digital thermometer between the copy and the substrate. (Relevant is the temperature on the surface of the substrate which is shown through the digital thermometer. The printing time depends on the size (mass) of the substrate.)
  • Open the transfer press when the above mentioned temperature is achieved and peel off the transfer paper as indicated above.

Important Notice:

Before starting mass production, we recommend to make a transfer and washing test with all materials.

Important advice for double-sided printing on textiles:
T-Shirts for a double-sided print (frontside & backside), has to be put over the lower heat plate. In this case, only one side will be treated with heat and you avoid that the applicated design from the other side will be pressed out again.
