The Kornit Avalanche Hexa HD6 has improved production through lower print costs and improved colour accuracy, but perhaps the biggest advantage is its printing speed. The Avalanche Hexa HD6 has improved our production speed by 84%, comparing to last year, and is something that’s driven change in every other aspect of our business.
The new Rapid ink offers huge benefits to our print workflow. After several demonstrations with some of our core clients they have all commented on the vibrancy and softness of the print. Furthermore, the new reduced cost per print from the HD6 is allowing us to quote competitively on print runs that were previously out of reach from a costing perspective. We are printing larger runs with orders of 500-1000 units now being part of our daily workflow.

Shows after 25 years working with Amaya UK you are never too old to learn. John was patient with me and has taught me a few new tricks. Having bought our first embroidery machine from Amaya, the EMT16, we would recommend the machine to anyone looking to move into embroidery, but more importantly we recommend working with amaya. The team have impressed us from the first discussion, no hard sell, honest clear friendly advice they really feel like they are working with us to help our business rather than just looking for a sale. We had been in embroidery for 15+ years and had worn out our original 4-head machine. Now we knew exactly what we wanted in our new machinese and what questions to ask. We decided on the melco emt16 – notice I say “decided” not settled for. The melco was superior in every way. Quality and consistency of design, sewing field, software (both OS & Design Shop) & ease of embroidering caps. It was user friendly & easy to train our operators on. The melco’s have been a major factor in the growth of our embroidery business.
Just a quick note to provide some positive feedback for your staff who have helped me out recently and shown what a great team you have at Amaya. This has confirmed to me that we made the correct choice of equipment and support, following our months of research. Over the weekend I had a problem with one of my EMT16’s and penned an email to Alan and Fern hoping to get a response first thing Monday morning. Alan went one better than that and responded within a few hours on Sunday, offering a number of solutions. I certainly didn’t expect this but it was great to be able to try and start the recovery process as soon as possible. Fern responded first thing Monday and co-ordinated a plan for Alan to visit on the Tuesday. The machine was back up and running shortly after he arrived – a great relief as we had our first big order to complete. In this world we are quick to make complaints and very rare do people get a “thank you” for a job well done, something that your team seem to be able to do with ease and professionalism.
Although I have only had my Hoopmaster for a few days I can already see the benefits over the manual method I was using before. It’s so easy to move the board for different size shirts, and get the embroidery in the same position every time, plus I love the magnetic hoop for heavy jackets. Best part is less pressure on my wrists and arms, thank you Amaya for recommending the hoopmaster and mighty hoop product
Investing in embroidery has turned our business around and is now our key seller. It has been such a great purchase for us. After two years of having one machines, the amount of work we have got increased so much we then invested in a second machine and potentially another one next year. The after-care and customer service from Amaya is great. It’s not just a sell and that’s it, whenever we have an issue and we call up someone is there straight away.

After months of trawling on the internet and getting bamboozled in Pro’s ‘N’ Cons on DTG, I decided to visit what looked like to be the best in the printing/Embroidery Garment Game. I was not wrong, a fabulous set-up with demo machines right left and centre! All fully operationally and ready for hands-on experience, which to be honest left me wanting to plan to expand !! They do arrange of purchase option to boot! These guys are not just selling machines there giving you a year’s experience, and are happy to share! No wonder the big boys come here. I decided to buy the texjet printer from Amaya, having seen it perform at the sign and digital show last year. The print quality was far higher than the competitive models I looked at. Their after sales support is spot on, with everything solved quickly and efficiently. The investment has, without a shadow of a doubt, benefited my business immensely.
After much research, we picked the Texjet from Amaya fir the quality of print, user friendly inks (bulk not cartridge) and excellent construction. We also took into consideration Amaya’s wealth of specialist knowledge & technical support. Best decision we have made, we always feel we are in safe hands.
We purchased our first direct to garment printer from Amaya back in 2011 and have since purchased a further 10 printers. We have a variety of models from the Texjet Plus, Texjet Plus Advanced and the latest additions in the range the shortee and echo. This really speaks for itself, we are so happy with the quality of the equipment and the flexibility it gives our business model. Our business has grown dramatically in the past twelve months, and we wouldn’t have been able to do this without the equipment and the support of the whole Amaya team. Their fast and responsive approach to customer care is exceptional.
We have always been extremely impressed with Amaya, for both pre sales advice and ongoing support. They won’t sell you anything unless its going to be of benefit to you and your business. You definitely won’t get the typical hard sales approach from Amaya.
We have purchased 2 of the Texjet Echo 2’s from Amaya. Amaya took care of the delivery, installation and training. Thereafter whenever we needed help or advice they always been prompt and very helpful.
The Texjet Echo 2’s have helped us streamline our printing and move away from those more labour intensive printing methods, not to mention that we have also found print costs to be a fraction of those previously used.
If you are looking to get started with DTG, you won’t find a better partner than Amaya.
The Echo 2 has simultaneously enabled us to increase our production volume whilst at the same time significantly decrease our costs, ultimately leading to a much higher profit margin. This has resulted in us being able to expand the business further and take on an additional member of staff.
We needed to increase our capacity after the near overnight success of the (Amaya purchased 😉) OKI white toner transfer system, in order to keep up with new found demand. Having researched various options we felt that the Echo 2 provided the best return on investment and we knew that Amaya would support us with the purchase.
Simple to use, quick to get started. After installation and training we were already generating profit in under 48 hours. The Texjet Echo 2 is a workhorse, and we are able to comfortably turn out up to 200 garments a day on a single printer. Maintenance is always a factor to consider when looking at DTG printers and can be quite daunting to a new user. The Echo 2 makes maintenance simple and after just a few days becomes second nature. Daily maintenance takes no longer than 2 minutes, and weekend/monthly maintenance just a few minutes longer.
The CADlink RIP software is surprisingly versatile, and is ideally suited to both a small individual setup as well as larger environments where advanced time-saving and convenience features can be utilised to maximise production. We have recently been able to integrate the system with existing processes in a way that is usually only possible with more expensive enterprise-grade software packages, meaning that we can go from order to print in as little as 20 seconds.
We have already recommended the Texjet over all of the other brands of DTG printers we have looked at. We continually recommend Amaya Sales UK to those looking for printing equipment or entering the garment decoration industry simply because they do not just try to sell you the most expensive package or options, and will work with you to understand your needs and growth to find the best kit for your budget.
After sales support is fantastic – no question is too simple and more complex technical issues can be diagnosed by remotely dialling in so there is minimal downtime if anything goes wrong. As for our interaction with the Amaya team, I can only give a solid 9.9 out of 10 – you can’t strive for perfection if you’re already there. Also Fern….. #Love

I would like to thank all of the amazing staff at Amaya from my first telephone call requesting information on the OKI white toner printer, to the staff that took their time to talk me through all of the pros and cons with no push to sell me the product – just filled me with the information.
It took me 6 months to make the decision to purchase the machine. Once it was delivered the fantastic Adam Barr logged on to my computer, set it all up, and gave me some help to get started.
I was having a few teething problems – it was me, not the machine that was the problem! I had a few telephone conversations with Sadia who has been a delight to work with, then went for some one-to-one training in the Nottingham office. Once again we meet both Adam and Sadia, both were fantastic and could not do enough to help both myself and my husband.
On returning home I had another couple of issues, these turned out to be my press not reaching the right heat. Yet again Sadia was at the end of the telephone and happy to help. We as a company have no problems recommending Amaya, and should we need any further equipment to expand our embroidery and print side of business, we will be back. Thank you Amaya, Adam and Sadia for your amazing customer service.
From a commercial point of view we have been delighted, the OKI transfer printer filled a printing capability void within our workwear and clothing division that gives our clients more options on colour, look/feel and material. The price point appears to be just right allowing us to give good value but is still profitable.
I couldn’t be happier with the experience we have had with Amaya. We originally purchased the no cut dark paper but after a few attempts we fathomed it wasn’t really great with my printer, with it not having white ink. Erin sent some testers of the flexsoft paper for us to try and we continued to have issues. Erin went out of her way to go through various trial and error, contacting the manufacturer with our printer type to make sure we were using optimum settings etc and even tried some test presses at Amaya HQ with some of our designs we printed for her. After more trial and error the conclusion was it was the heat press we were using, which I will admit was substandard. We eventually switched to a different heat press, which we purchased through Amaya aswell, and the excellent customer service continued through that process. Honestly couldn’t recommend Amaya enough!
Adam has been very helpful and knowledgable. I bought the machine second hand and as such was only given a quick demo. He has taken me through how to use the software and how the different papers work. I have had quit a few teething issues to say the least and he has always managed to answer my questions fully and point me in the right direction. He’s always been Very responsive and happy to help. I came to Amaya from using a different transfer paper for dark garments. I was having major problems getting details to transfer. Then I was introduced to Forever Laser Dark and the TransferRIP through Amaya. What a revolution for my shirts and customers. Now I can do work for customers I’d dread before! They are here to help you with after-sales as I bought a Melco EMT16+ from them recently and absolutely love it. Their help in getting me up and running with it has been invaluable. With them I have been able to grow my business and gain more customers.

Any company can sell a product, that is the easy bit. Amaya takes it to the next level, firstly with their due diligence, they will only sell you a product that is suitable for your business. Once you have the product the after sales service is something else. Combining on site product training on installation with continual free training days with industry specialists. I could not recommend Amaya enough for your next purchase to enhance your garment decoration business.

When Ultimate Promotions first set up, we purchased our main equipment from one of the well known key suppliers in the UK but after install we had major issues for 6 months trying to get a usable product to sell due to major issues with our new high end white toner printer and transfer papers. We suffered very badly from poor supplier support and eventually had to look elsewhere for urgent help and advice.
Amaya were recommended and having made contact, we very quickly got everything sorted. We had tried our initial Heat Transfer paper but were never happy with the weeding as we got too many rejects and wasted products. We are now using the Amaya and Forever products and can only sum it up like this.
When using the previous product, we continuously lacked confidence but when using the Forever product our confidence was high as it has remarkable weeding properties and we have had no rejects. The added bonus is that we now have a superior product range in Forever and much more competitive pricing which allows us a greater margin or indeed to pass the savings on to our customers when prices get tight…
In the few months we have worked with Amaya, they have introduced more new transfer paper options in a continuous effort to reduce their client base overhead costs.

Honestly speak to the guys at Amaya Sales UK. They have a branch in Nottingham too as well as HQ down south. The training, support and aftercare you get is second to none. We had sooo many problems with our Hotronix press (the oki has been fine). Stahls / target transfers themselves refused to sort the problem even under warranty despite being less than a week old, a month old, and 4 months old. Amaya paid out of their own pocket to sort us out and provided a loan press whilst it was being sorted so our production could continue. We’ve now spent over £45k with them and never been let down 👍🏻
Any questions you have – before or after purchase – just give them a call and they will answer honestly. If it can’t do something, they’ll tell you. If something works but could be tricky, they’ll tell you. Ask for a demo session on their premises, you don’t have to commit to anything just to look, watch and try for yourself 🙂

While John was dicking around with my printer Dan ran me through placing cutlines around images for my Roland. You have NO idea how much time and money he has saved me. I have been paying a little Egyptian fella on Fiverr to do them for me. Dan showed me exactly what to do. I have trawled the University of YouTube for two years trying to find an easy way to do it, Dan did it in 5 minutes. Dan deserves a promotion!!
