We started in embroidery equipment and probably have more experience than any other company in Europe. This experience is not just on the sales front but also technical ability and most of all in production techniques. The latter is the key function in getting you up and running as soon as possible and achieving a faster return on investment.
Amaya ventured into DTG printers when they first became available. In those days they could only print on white or light garments. We then went through all the pain of printing onto dark shirts until manufacturers got it right. So, having gone through all the trials and tribulations we feel we are in the best position to advise your company on the right route for your business to follow.
We became the UK distributor for Polyprint around 15 years ago promoting and supporting their Texjet range of printers. In May 2017 we were appointed UK distibutors for Kornit Digital, a leader in industrial DTG and DTF printing equipment. Since joining Kornit we have won awards every year, including most recently “ European Partner of the Year”. This compliments all divisions of our business from technical support to customer service, from application training to logistics which makes us very proud of the team we have and the support we give our customers.
Another great opportunity in DTG printing came at the beginning of 2021 when we were picked as the main re-seller of the Roland Texart XT640S new to market DTG printer. As an existing Roland dealer for the print and cut systems and UV printers we were chosen for our DTG knowledge within the UK market.
We also distribute OKI white toner printers together with the popular Forever Transfer Paper. This is a lower investment way of digitally printing on to light and dark garments but you can also print on to polyester products and hard substrates.
A starter for most customers is applying garment film or vinyl with the aid of a cutter. For this we offer SEF water-based garment film and Graphtec cutter/plotters. To apply this to a garment we supply both Stahls and Shulze heat presses.
